The 5S method allows for an organized work place and total visibility of the necessary equipment, environment and services.
It is translated as:
- Seiri: eliminate the useless.
- Seiton: tidy up and organize.
- Seiso: clean thoroughly with the goal of determining anomalies.
- Siketsu: render evident, render visible, equipment, instruments, areas.
- Shitsuke:maintain the level obtained through discipline.
